The group broke up in 2014. Then I went solo.  In 2018, I dropped my first single titled Adesuwa. By his grace, today I have more than 14 tracks. My name is Don Okuta, also known as Faji Governor. I am the C.E.O. of Don Okuta Records, a label dedicated to promoting vibrant and diverse sounds within the Nigerian music industry. I hail from Edo State, Nigeria, where rich cultural traditions inspire my music. I embarked on my musical journey in 2008 with a talented group called the West Coast Boyz. We created a unique blend of Afrobeat and contemporary sounds. This blend resonated with our audience. However, after the group's unfortunate breakup in 2014, I decided to forge my own path. In 2018, I proudly released my first single titled "Adesuwa." The single received a warm reception. This release marked the beginning of my solo career. By the grace of God, today I have more than 14 tracks. They reflect my growth as an artist and my dedication to my craft. I recently dropped a new track titled "Faji Governor (Work and Pray)."
